Best IBW11 Publicity Campaign

Awarded to the babywearing group with the most creative campaign leading up to IBW11.  The group does NOT have to be an official BWI group.

The Jennifer Rosenberg Babywearing Advocate of the Year Award

Know someone who has worked tirelessly to promote babywearing and all its benefits this past year?  Tell us about it!  .

The Vijay Owens Babywearing Advocacy Award for Lifetime Achievement in Promoting Babywearing



General Awards

Best babywearing outreach program to women in need

Open to businesses, professionals and individuals who work with families in need and advocate babywearing as a tool for parents and caregivers..

Best babywearing outreach event by a non-vendor  (nonprofit organization or individual)

Open to non-profit groups, individuals or organizations  who work with families in need and advocate babywearing as a tool for parents and caregivers.

Best babywearing advocate in the healing professions

Open to individuals and groups who work in the healing profession (doctors, nurses, midwives, lactaction consultants, etc.) who advocate babywearing as a tool for parents and caregivers.

General Awards for BWI groups and leaders

Best blog or website maintained by a BWI group:
This award is for the group that has kept their website current, interesting and beneficial to their members and others who want to learn more about babywearing.

Best outreach event by a BWI group:
Over the year many BWI groups are involved with community events or even help create a community event. We want to award groups that go above and beyond in "spreading the bwing love."

Volunteer Babywearing Educator of the year:
VBEs are the heart of a group. They lead, they  teach and they inspire others to do the same. We want to know about your leader and how they have made babywearing better where you live.
